Below is a letter written to the editor who wrote the article 'Enforcement of dress code creates negative effect' that your blogged about last week. Most of you wrote on your blog that you agreed with the writer. What are your thoughts after reading the letter below and seeing a different perspective. Are they the same? Are the different? Do you agree? Disagree? Explain yourself.

My thoughts have not change after reading this letter. In my opinion students should have the freedom to wear what they want. True, some clothes might be inappropriate looking, but it doesn't mean we can't express ourselves through the clothes we wear. Also even if the teachers would like us to wear appropriate clothes there are no need to point it out in front of lots of students. It has nothing to do with looking professional. We students do wear what will make us look mature and professional when something important happens. It's not like we always dresses ourselves like sl*ts or prostitutes. Its just simply showing some shoulders, legs and stomachs. Whats so bad about that? Its not like we are showing our butts or places that shouldn't be showed. That is why there will always be a gap between our generation. Just from reading this letter makes me feel like the teacher always think they're "right" because they are more "experienced" and "more mature" than us high school students. But no this is not true. Many high school female students would know what is right from wrong, if not then I would suggest they go back to preschool. Our parents have taught us since we're little so yeah... I think this letter is not needed and the teacher should just stop minding what we wear. Its not like out parents would let us walk out of the house with our chest or butt hanging out our shirt, shorts or skirts.
