Tell me about your weekend. Share pics!
On Saturday, I stayed home with my brother when my parent went out of town. At home I played on my ipad and phone for...about the whole day. I would just snapchat and message my friends constantly without stopping. I remember I hopefully had my breakfast at like 4 pm. I know its crazy, but I just didn't feel like eating even though I was starving. On Sunday, I went out with my cousins to go shopping for new clothes. We came home at about 2 pm so my dad could teach me how to drive. I drove from my house to Blackbob and all the way to 888 international market. I was somewhat nervous since I was still not a pro at driving yet. When I got home I immediately went on my laptop, chatting with my friends once again. I was not able to fall asleep until 12 something am so I'm pretty tired at the moment.

What kind of background do you have with Photoshop? Have you used it before? What other types of design and editing software have you used before? Explain.
I have never used the program Photoshop before. I have very little experience working with graphic design apps. I never used other types of design or editing software before since I didn't need it at all. I am not so sure if I know how to use Photoshop or other editing apps. Using Photoshop might be a very hard thing for me to do because I am inexperienced and I don't really know what I should do with it. I know that graphic designers and other people who have works that are related to online programming and art will use it to edit photos or other creative art pieces. I have watch my cousin use Photoshop to edit her posters which made things look amazing.

Below is a letter written to the editor who wrote the article 'Enforcement of dress code creates negative effect' that your blogged about last week. Most of you wrote on your blog that you agreed with the writer. What are your thoughts after reading the letter below and seeing a different perspective. Are they the same? Are the different? Do you agree? Disagree? Explain yourself.
My thoughts have not change after reading this letter. In my opinion students should have the freedom to wear what they want. True, some clothes might be inappropriate looking, but it doesn't mean we can't express ourselves through the clothes we wear. Also even if the teachers would like us to wear appropriate clothes there are no need to point it out in front of lots of students. It has nothing to do with looking professional. We students do wear what will make us look mature and professional when something important happens. It's not like we always dresses ourselves like sl*ts or prostitutes. Its just simply showing some shoulders, legs and stomachs. Whats so bad about that? Its not like we are showing our butts or places that shouldn't be showed. That is why there will always be a gap between our generation. Just from reading this letter makes me feel like the teacher always think they're "right" because they are more "experienced" and "more mature" than us high school students. But no this is not true. Many high school female students would know what is right from wrong, if not then I would suggest they go back to preschool. Our parents have taught us since we're little so yeah... I think this letter is not needed and the teacher should just stop minding what we wear. Its not like out parents would let us walk out of the house with our chest or butt hanging out our shirt, shorts or skirts.

The life I want to live is being able to help the people in need. In order to do that the perfect classes that will help me success is law class and environmental class. If I were be able to name the class, the name will be Helping Hands class. I named it Helping Hands class because this class will teach you how to help someone in need. In this class people will learn about the different social status and what type of people would need our help the most. We will spend our class time observing people and learning what is the best way to help someone in need. It will be different from other classes because we wouldn't be in a classroom, but out on the streets observing.

The following article was in the September issue of The Tiger Print. Read the article (even if you already have) and respond to it below. What do you think? Do you agree? Disagree? Consider all perspectives of the article while you respond.
In my opinion, I totally agree with Riley Miller. I agree with her because why does teacher and the administrator get to choose what we decide to wear. As a student in this school I think girls should be able to choose what they want to wear. Many girls would go shopping before school starts, but will be disappointed when they're told they can't wear something like this in school. Why does guys get to wear whatever they want but not girls. Girl teenagers these days like to dress to up to impress people, but the school is not allowing it which is frustrating. Like the article said why should we female students be told that what we're wearing are inappropriate when we barely even know the teacher.
If I were looking into this as a guy, I would sort of agree with this article. I mean guys are able to wear what we want too, but not the girls. As a guy I think the girls would know how to respect themselves and wear something appropriate to school. Also I don't think the male students will be distracted because of clothing issues. It's not like all guys have hormonal problems.
If I were a teacher, I would think the girls need something to cover up. Walking down the hallway the only thing you can see are legs, stomachs, and more legs. I would think the girl should respect their own body by covering themselves up. I don't mean that they have to be covered up from head to toe but at least cover the butt and body parts that we don't need to see.

Tell me about your weekend! If you don't have anything fun to share, tell me about the city you live in. What do you love about Kansas City? Do you have a favorite place in the city? Favorite team? :) Favorite event? Explain.
The thing I like about Kansas is that it is super quiet and people are sort of nice. I like it here because there are not a lot of places that are polluted with trash. I wouldn't say that I love Kansas because there are many other places I haven't been to. My favorite place in the city is either Town Center or Oak Park Mall. I like it there because I can spend times with my friends or family. My family likes to go on car rides and just drive around Kansas as we explore it. I remember one time we got lost because my dad thought he would remember the way back home. So that time it took us about 3 hours just to find our way home. It was pretty funny because my dad thought we could just explore anywhere we want. The other thing that I like about Kansas is the big beautiful houses everywhere. I also like how many kids are actually playing sports compared to other places. Also I like how people get so excited over the Royals when they win their games.
